First to market – canopies add to modern design element at new St. Pete campus.
Every once in a while, we are invited to work on a project that is so unique and one of a kind, that our whole office buzzes with excitement. Such is the case with the recent project that we were involved with at the new campus for BridgePoint Church in St. Petersburg.
If you haven’t seen it, the new campus is absolutely stunning. Modern and beautiful, the new faux wood grain canopies are quite possibly the first of its kind in the Tampa Bay area and a perfect complement to new BridgePoint campus. Combining the durability of aluminum with the architectural appealing look of a wood grain, we are proud to be the first company to bring this kind of shade option to market.
Along with the decking canopies, we also created an enormous, circular display that holds multiple big screen televisions in the main lobby.
BridgePoint has steadily grown since its inception in 2007, and that has led to the need for a new home for the congregation. BridgePoint’s new 50,000 sq. ft. building – complete with 850-seat auditorium – is a testament to how far BridgePoint has come since they began in February of 2007. From humble beginnings as a small group that met in a rented-out room at St. Petersburg High School, they now have over 2,000 people who call BridgePoint home every week.
Awning Works is proud to be a part of the new at BridgePoint Church campus and we are happy that we were able to give them something so unique and extraordinary.
