Courtyard by Marriott Titusville – Retractable Roof

The Space Bar is the new rooftop deck bar high atop the Courtyard by Marriott in Titusville with spectacular views of NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. But with the Florida view comes Florida sun and rain for many months of the year. The restaurant group faced a difficult choice: build a permanent canopy structure that would deprive patrons of the wonderful off season weather, or keep it open and hope everyone carries an umbrella in case of a summer shower. With a retractable roof, The Space Bar gets the best of both worlds.

But this project didn’t just require retractable, modern shade, it required retractable, modern shade that would cover a huge area! Our roof structure comes in at an amazing 70'×26' plus it connects to a fixed awning we manufactured to achieve a 30'-0" coverage.
