The Gennius is a new innovation in the old world of retractable awnings and canopies, designed to improve the quality and functionality of outdoor spaces and expand usable outdoor dining areas. Complete with Somfy® motorization and rain management features, this retractable fabric shade structure is constructed with Serge Ferrari® 3-ply waterproof vinyl-coated fabric, combining the beauty of a pergola with the flexibility of a retractable awning, durable enough to withstand inclement weather. Combined with Somfy-motorized exterior screens with clear vinyl windows, you can complete an enclosed functional outdoor space with unique features at a much lower cost than conventional construction.

The Gennius’ modular design provides for virtually unlimited sizes. A single fabric structure can span as much as 42'-8" wide (maximum bay 14'-9") by 26'-4" projection.

GENNIUS Models

A100 – This aluminum-framed trellis system, supported by front posts with integrated water drainage, is pitched from an existing structure and projects up to 18'-0" and covers up to 42'-8" wide.

A2C – Instantly create 1,000+ sq. ft. of shade and weather protection. This aluminum framed system is pitched from an existing structure or free standing, with integrated water drainage and projections to 26'-3". The design resembles a traditional pergola.

L1S – Combine a retractable roof with a traditional wood pergola. This Norwegian spruce trellis system is pitched from an existing structure with integrated water drainage and projections to 19'-8".

T1 – If you already have a pergola or trellis, the T1 retractable fabric roof with aluminum guardrail can be attached to your structure. Since it has no posts, there are virtually unlimited possibilities. Covers 42'-8" wide and projects up to 29'-6".

T4 – The unique cantilever design with a durable aluminum frame allows installations without the use of posts and provides great coverage to 42'-8" × 13'-0" projection.

ISOLA 2 – Designed to be a flat, freestanding or appending roof system. At up to 18' wide with a max projection of 29'-5", the Isola 2 can cover a large outdoor area.

The new Isola 2 waterproof structure is designed to be a flat, freestanding or appending roof system. At up to 18 feet wide with a max projection of 29.6 feet, the Isola 2 can cover a large outdoor area.
