As St. Pete Beach continues to grow, Shark Tales Waterfront Restaurant is a new take on beach dining in a familiar spot to the local community. Here at Awning Works Inc., we were able to work with this fellow member of the Tampa Bay community to keep their customers cool and comfortable while enjoying the beautiful weather and outdoor dining in the Sunshine State.
Awning Works worked with the owners at Shark Tales to provide them with an Elite Plus retractable awning that not only met their shade needs, but also kept with the overall theme of the building to maintain an inviting atmosphere for the potential customer. Awning Works was able to install a retractable awning over the rooftop dining area that overlooks Blind Pass, using a Sattler canvas fabric of blue and white stripes that pairs with the blue and white aesthetic of the building. By utilizing a retractable awning, patrons can eat and drink comfortably in the shade during the day and sit on the patio under the stars at night.
Shark Tales offers fresh seafood, drink specials and live entertainment on the waterfront in St. Pete Beach. The location, formerly the home of the Sloppy Pelican, has been a familiar lunch and dinner restaurant popular with both Floridians and visitors to the Tampa Bay area. The waterfront patio is a great spot to grab a drink and catch a Florida sunset with your friends. Their uniquely lit see-through dock is a must-see in the evening as you enjoy one of their signature Chum Runners.
